Welcome to Johnny Biggs!
The following is an article from the Mansfield News Journal:
ONTARIO You better come hungry to Johnny Biggs, which opens Monday in the former T.G.I.Friday's on Lexington-Springmill Road.
The burgers are big, the fries hand-cut and the chili comes three ways, with meat, chicken or steak, the latter made with a bit of Jim Beam bourbon.
Co-owner John Bigadza of Richfield, Ohio, whose father Harry "Whitey" Bigadza founded Whitey's Booze N' Burgers in Richfield, said Saturday he decided to make Mansfield the site of his first Johnny Biggs restaurant, using his late father's already successful basic menu.
The theme of the independent eatery is set in the Prohibition-era 1930s. It's part modern-day speakeasy and part sports bar, featuring 15 big screen TVs, and is suitable for whatever gathering customers and families may have in mind.
Bigadza said the burgers keep people coming back, from the Maggie Biggs Burger, named for his mother Maggie and topped with mushrooms and grilled onions, to The Outhouse, which comes smothered in Swiss cheese with bacon and barbecue sauce.
